I'll stamp all over 'serious combatant' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two time unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
